Power

• Powering On
  
  1. 1. 1. Locate the soft power button on the back of the Chiller.
        2. Press and hold the button for three seconds.
        3. The power button will light up, indicating the Chiller is now powered on.
• Powering Off
  1. 1. 1. Locate the soft power button on the back of the Chiller.
        2. Press and hold the button for three seconds.
        3. The power button light will turn off, indicating the Chiller is now powered off.
• Powering off for an extended time
  1. 1. 1. When shutting down the Chiller, especially if it will be off for a while, it's best to drain the system to prevent water from stagnating.
        2. Close the quick-connect shut-off valves on the top and bottom bulkheads of the Ice Barrel.
        3. Disconnect the 6-foot quick-connect hoses from both the Ice Barrel and the Chiller to drain the remaining water.
        4. Remove the water filter bowl to drain the filter system completely, preventing water stagnation.
• Restarting After Extended Downtime
  1. 1. 1. Reconnect the quick-connect hoses to the Chiller and Ice Barrel.
        2. Open the shut-off valves to allow water flow.
        3. Press the soft power button to turn on the Chiller.

Interacting with the Chiller User Interface

• Top Left Corner - Connectivity and Time
  1. 1. 1. The Wi-Fi icon indicates your connection status, important for app features and updates.
        2. The time display keeps you informed of the current time for scheduling and tracking cooling cycles.
• Info Center
  1. 1. 1. Here, you'll find the Chiller's current state, like Cooling or SmartSense, along with relevant mode information and the target setpoint temperature.

• Dynamic Dial
  1. 1. 1. The dynamic dial and large temperature readout provide a clear visual of the current water temperature, marked by a thick white line, and the setpoint, marked by a blue circle when in Cooling mode.
           
        2. As the Chiller cools, the dial will show progress with extended marks indicating the journey toward the setpoint.
        3. In Ready mode, a 'Ready' icon appears, and the setpoint remains blue, showing the Chiller is maintaining the desired temperature.
        4. SmartSense mode is indicated by gray color coding, reflecting the energy-efficient maintenance of temperature.
        5. Protect mode triggers red color coding, signaling immediate attention is required from you.

Chiller Control Wheel Navigation

• • • User Interface Navigation: The control wheel on the front panel is your main navigation tool within the user interface.
      1. 1. Press once to select an option.
         2. Rotate left or right to navigate through options and settings.
         3. Press and hold for 3 seconds to access more complex functions and the main menu.
    • Display Activation: The display on the Chiller is designed to save energy by going to sleep after 30 seconds of inactivity. It will wake up when you turn the control wheel or click the control wheel.
    • Temperature Adjustment: Easily adjust your desired water temperature from the home screen with a turn of the wheel, with on-screen prompts for confirmation.
      
    • State Switching: A simple press on the control wheel switches between 'Cooling' and 'SmartSense' modes, with on-screen prompts for confirmation. Note that the Chiller has safety mechanisms to prevent rapid switching between modes to protect sensitive cooling components, ensuring they run for their minimum required time.
      
    • Menu Access: Press and hold the control wheel for 3 seconds to bring up the main menu, where you can manage Chiller functions, includes scheduling sessions, reviewing notifications, and updating user settings.

Quick Start Cooling

• • • At any time, you can activate the Chiller by rotating the control wheel, which wakes up the display. Adjust your desired water temperature by turning the wheel and press it once to start cooling immediately. A pop-up confirmation will appear to ensure the action is intended. The Chiller will cool to the set temperature and maintain it for 3 hours, switching to Ready mode upon reaching it. If this session coincides with a scheduled session, the Chiller will prioritize your recent input but will resume scheduled activities once the instant session ends.
